The Valencia Basket confirmed this Sunday the renewal of the Belgian base Sam van rossom after the entity did not exercise the clause that allowed him to cut one last campaign plus his contract.
The club had the option to decide if it had another year with Derrick Williams and Guillem Vives but it resigned to do so and neither of them will continue in the entity next season. In addition, he has yet to decide whether to do so with Fernando San Emeterio and Vanja Marinkovic.
Van Rossom, who is 35 years old, will live his ninth campaign at a club where he was transferred by Zaragoza in the summer of 2013 and despite leaving Valencia at the end of the 2016-17 campaign, he returned in September.
With the continuity of Van Rossom, Valencia have closed their triplet of bases for the next season since Martin Hermannsson had a contract and the club announced on Saturday the arrival of Nenad Dimitrijevic.
