The Joventut de Badalona has reached an agreement, for the next two seasons, with the Dominican guard Andrew Happy, which will thus become the third reinforcement of the team for the 2021-22 season, as announced on Tuesday by the green-black club.
Feliz, 23 years old and born in Santo Domingo, played the second leg of last season with the CB Prat, and contributed to the promotion of the Catalan team to LEB Oro, the second category of Spanish basketball.
With El Prat, he achieved an average of 18.9 points, 3.3 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game in just 25 minutes of play. In that group, he was trained by Dani Miret, with whom he will now meet again as Joventut’s second coach.
Trained in university categories with the Illinois Fighting Illini For the United States, Feliz is a point guard who stands out for his offensive ability, intensity and game distribution.
With his arrival in Badalona, he becomes the third signing of the green and black players after the already announced incorporations of Guillem Vives and Brandon Paul.
