His Majesty King Felipe VI received the recent Wimbledon junior champion Ane Mintegi in audience this Thursday, who has been accompanied by her family, her representative Enric Molina, and by the president of the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET), Miguel Díaz.
On July 11, the 17-year-old from Gipuzkoa became the first Spanish woman to win the junior women’s title at the dean world tennis tournament. She did it by beating the German Nastasja Mariana Schunk 2-6 6-4 6-1, in the final played on court number 1 of the All England Lawn Tennis Club in London.
