The Cavaliers want number one in the draft, in the hands of the Pistons

The Cleveland Cavaliers have the third pick in the 2021 Draft, but they want the first according to internal information shared with the portal Cleveland.com. The Ohio franchise tries to get hold of the services of Cade Cunningham, main candidate for the number one event where the NBA distributes its talent for the future.

The basis for any deal would be based on an exchange of selections in the Draft, and according to various reports in the US media there are several teams asked the price to pay to exchange the number one with the Detroit Pistons.

The Houston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans and Oklahoma City Thunder are Cleveland’s three competitors in the fight for Cunningham’s services, who averaged 20.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists in his only college season.

The Cavs would be willing to offer players and some future first round to Detroit, which will probably receive succulent offers to pass the number one of the next Draft.
