Pete Alonso is grateful to be alive after suffering a brutal car accident

Lto Mets star Pete Alonso suffered a serious car accident when your vehicle was hit by a driver who ran a red light, causing it to turn three times, being totally destroyed.

Alonso fortunately had no injuries and appeared at the spring training at Port St. Lucie, where he said he could be full time with his team, in addition to thanking that he came out alive.

“Yesterday I had a pretty brutal car accident… For me, it’s really special to be here. This is a really special spring training because yesterday was a very near-death experience. I am grateful to be alive. I am so thankful to be healthy, very grateful to be here. Anything can happen at any time. I’m very, very blessed to be here.”

Alonso told the media how his accident was and revealed that he was able to get out of the car after kicking its windshield.

“One moment I was coming here to work, coming to spring training, and next thing i knew i was kicking my windshield trying to get out of an overturned car. Really blessed to be here. Also thanks to Ford for having great engineering.”

Pete Alonso was alone in the car when he headed to spring training in Tampa.
