One Hundred Senior College Players Sign Up for the 2021 Draft

The NBA has already handed over to the league’s franchises a list with more than a hundred names of university players last year who have signed up as candidates for the 2021 draft. The list includes prominent NCAA seniors such as Luka garza (Iowa), Corey kispert (Gonzaga), Chris Duarte (Oregon), Austin reaves (Oklahoma) and Cameron krutwig (Loyola Chicago).

This first preliminary list includes only senior players, and it has been communicated by way of exception after the NCAA announced that it will allow seniors to extend their college career for another year if they wish.

The decision to advance this pre-selection process, in which the franchises can interview and organize training with the players, is made to facilitate and accelerate the workload of the franchise offices, since the final roster will include more than 300 players when international and university students from other years are added.

The final list of candidates for the 2021 Draft will be announced begining of June when the term expires for players of any category.
