Hwhite umo from florida. Major League Baseball and the players’ union would have finally agreed on a new collective bargaining agreementputting an end to the second largest work stoppage in its history and, with it, there will be baseball

Jeff Passan from ESPN reported that the agreement is approved by the representatives of both parties and is a formality for it to be end the work stoppage that began on December 2.

Signings announced prior to the lockout are valid as of now and the window to sign free agents and make trades would begin.

Players would report to Spring Training as early as Friday and the season would start on April 7, a week after the original Opening Day, which was scheduled to start on March 31.
