Lyou New York Mets they already have a new commander for next season, after they announced Buck Showalter as his new manager to replace Luis Rojas.
Rojas was left out of the ninth after finishing with a streak of 77-85 on the season and out of the playoffs. Now the New York will have the former manager of the Yankees, Rangers and Orioles.
With a record of 1,551-1,517, Showalter comes from managing Baltimo from 2010-18, had three postseason appearances and a division title, in addition to reaching the American Championship Series in 2014 against the Royals, where they were swept.
This change follows the cleanup of this year’s team, just last month they hired Billy Eppler as your new general manager. They also mobilized to make roster changes in the offseason before the big league stoppage and achieved four bombings.
