The triumph of Urquidy is historic, as he becomes the first Mexican pitcher to achieve two World Series victories after having achieved one in 2019 against the Nationals in Washington.
But he was not the only José to make history tonight, as the Venezuelan Altuve blew up the fence in the final stretch of the game and served to tie Bernie Williams in second place with the most home runs in the postseason.
