The ‘Jr. NBA ‘arrives in Uruguay with two tournaments and a course for coaches

This is indicated in a statement issued by the NBA in which it explains that this will be carried out by virtue of an agreement with the Municipality of Montevideo (local government of the capital of the South American country).

The contest for boys born between 2008 and 2011 will begin with a draft on January 21, while four days later the tournaments will begin, one with 30 men’s teams and the other with 30 women’s teams.

During the ‘Jr. NBA ‘, which will be divided into Eastern Conference and Western Conference, the clubs will play six regular-phase games each.

Then the eight men’s teams and the eight women’s teams with the best records in each of the conferences will advance to the playoffs.

Finally, on March 12, the ‘Jr.League finals will take place. NBA ‘Uruguay 2022.

On the other hand, 35 coaches will have the possibility to participate in a two-day clinic in which they will talk about rules, regulations, fundamental exercises and life skills.
