Two double duels against Iran (July 3 and 5) and France (8 and 10, coinciding with two Spain-France women) and a visit to USA in Las Vegas on the 18th, will constitute the preparation of the Spanish men’s team basketball for Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The selection led by the Italian Sergio Scariolo
will be concentrated this friday with a group of 18 players where it will be Pau Gasol and the NBA Marc Gasol, Ricky Rubio, Juancho Hernangomez Y Willy Hernangómez, and will have their first warm-up friendly on Saturday 3rd of July in Valencia against Iran.
The Monday 5th will meet again with the Asian team in Madrid, while the Thursday 8 will receive the French team in Malaga, with which they will repeat the duel on Saturday 10 in Paris. The two duels against France will coincide in the same place with both Spain-France women, in a double confrontation.
Finally, Spain will go to Las Vegas (USA) to face the US national team in the reissue of the Olympic finals in Los Angeles 1984, Beijing 2008 and London 2012, all of them favored by the American side.
From the United States, the Spanish team will depart directly to Tokyo, where it will debut on Monday 26 against Japan, on Thursday 29 he will play against Argentina and on Sunday the 1st they will play their third group match against the winning selection of the pre-Olympic to be played next week in Kaunas (Lithuania), in which the Lithuanian national team, the Slovenia by Luka Doncic, Angola, South Korea, Poland Y Venezuela.
