Roig will invest more than 35 million to develop a new pavilion

Basket, will invest during 2021, through the company Licampa 1617, more than 35 million euros in the development of the multipurpose pavilion which has already begun to build next to L’Alqueria del Basket, the macro-installation of quarry that he made for the club.

The construction of the enclosure, to which he gave the name of Casal España Arena de València, celebrates this Tuesday one year since its inception and besides being the Valencia Basket pavilion hopes to become a space that hosts sporting, cultural and entertainment events.

As reported by Licampa 1617 in a statement, a part of those 35 million is destined to the building, as established in the specifications, as the land on which the pavilion is built is municipal, a new space for the public school ‘Les Arts’ whose works began in mid-November 2020 and which is expected to open in the next school year.

With these 35 million, there are already 55 that Roig has invested of the total 220 who is expected to contribute from his personal assets to complete the pavilion.

As explained by Licampa 1617, “the Arena work has already completed the previous excavation of land at -2 meters and the screen walls have been completed, and currently the water from the water table is being extracted, which is being redirected to nearby ditches. to the plot ”.

The forecast is to finish the excavation of the land up to seven meters deep and make the special foundations during the summer, in order to start with Phase 2, which includes the concrete and metal structure of the enclosure, in the second half of this year.
