Lyou Angeles Lakers are getting closer to their neighbor, the Dodgers of the MLB and is that Philip Anschutz announced that he sold 27% of his stake from the team to two owners of the Major League Baseball franchise.
According to sources at the Los Angeles Times, the billionaire decided to sell Mark Walter and Todd Boehly his share of the Lakers which would be worth approximately $ 1.35 billion dollars and that makes it the largest minority ownership of the team.
Although the sale needs the approval of the NBA Board of Governors, It is known that this is a fact and that Walter and Boehly are already old acquaintances of basketball, having a part of Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA.
