New regulations for Valencian football from Monday, April 26


Good news for Valencian football. From this same Monday, new somewhat more flexible anti-covid measures come into force in the Community and will allow more public access to the football fields of the different regional and national categories, also for grassroots football, played in the Community; not in the dependents of LaLiga (professional football).

Specifically, due to the improvement in data on the pandemic in the Community in recent weeks, the Generalitat has yielded at the request of the Valencian Community Football Federation (FFCV) and has relaxed the measurements, always keeping in mind that the arms cannot be lowered because the coronavirus remains a powerful threat.

In this way, from this Monday the public will be allowed to enter all sports venues in the Region as long as safety distances are kept. They will not be able to enter the soccer fields, either in Second B, in Third in different amateur competitions, more than 1000 people when treating the stadiums of open enclosures; in closed rooms (pavilions) the maximum capacity will be 500 fans.

The improvement is more than remarkable, since to date (including this weekend) a maximum access of 150 people was allowed. In addition, the use of changing rooms will also be allowed, at 50 percent of their capacity.
“The Generalitat has listened to the FFCV and has made the entry of the public into the fields more flexible in the resolution that comes into force next Monday. I am happy for our football, which needed it a lot ”, wrote the president of the Federation, Salva Gomar, this same Saturday. Today, normality is one step closer.
