The coach of the Casademont Zaragoza, Luis Casimiro, will reach this Sunday the 700 games training in ACB, a figure that has only been surpassed by three other coaches, all of them Spanish.
The coach from La Mancha occupies fourth place in the historical classification of matches directed in the ACB after illustrious names such as Aíto García Reneses, which is the leader with 1,077, Pedro Martinez (911) and the deceased Manel Comas (745).
As for victories, Luis Casimiro he is the sixth with 339 wins, with a 48.5% effectiveness despite the years he has spent in modest teams whose sole objective was to maintain the category.
Only five technicians can boast of having added more victories than him (Aito, Pedro Martinez, Commas, Pablo Laso and Ivanovic).
Ricardo Hevia gave him the option of arriving at the ACB as an assistant in the 1992-93 season and then he has traveled half of Spain with his suitcase in tow: Gandia, Alicante, Salamanca (as Pedro Martínez’s assistant), Gijon, Cáceres, Valencia, Valladolid, Fuenlabrada, Madrid (Students), Malaga, Seville, Canary Islands (Gran Canaria), repeating in some cases, to stop at the current one in Zaragoza.
