Legendary Jazz center Mark Eaton passes away

Eaton, passed away at the age of 64.

According to reports from the Salt Lake Tribune, Eaton went for a ride with his bike around 8 p.m. Friday in county of Summit and did not return home. The cause of his death is still unknown.

Eaton played for Utah
Jazz from 1982 to 1993 and was named All-Star in 1989, while he was voted NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 1985 and 1989.

After retiring, he resided in the county of Summit and served as president of the National Association of Retired Basketball Players.
