Lto Kawhi Leonard’s injury was more serious than expected. The Clippers player underwent surgery to repair a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee this Tuesday, which occurred during the playoffs.
Leonard was injured during Game 4 of the semifinals of Conference against Utah, missing the rest of the series and could not be in the Final against the Suns, although the Clippers held out hope that he would return at some point.
