Fernando Tatis Jr., slugger for the San Diego Padres, was placed in the 10-day disabled list on Saturday, one day after partially dislocate your left shoulder for the third time this season.
The Padres announced the decision before their game against the Colorado Rockies. They also placed right-hander C on the list.hris Paddack with an oblique injury.
Tatis, the NL’s starting shortstop in the All-Star Game, was injured Friday night. by slipping strangely into third base during the first inning against the Rockies. The Dominican looked very sore when he was joined by manager Jayce Tingler and the team doctor.
Tingler said Tatis was “I was in a little more pain than in the past.”
The Fathers, who are in the third place in the West of the National, and they control second place as a wild card team, they have their fingers crossed in the hope that their superstar will be back in 10 days.
Tatis leads the National League with 31 homers and 23 stolen bases.. He’s hitting .292 with 70 RBIs.
His left shoulder has become a concern. He has injured that joint while hitting, trying to catch a ball in a dive and sliding. Two of those injuries put him on the disabled list.
The Fathers indicated that they had given Tatis a MRI on Saturday morning and that he has swelling and instability in his left shoulder.
