Frankamp leaves Murcia and heads to Russia to put himself under the command of XAvi Pascual at the Zenit of Saint Petersburg.
The American base has been the fifth highest scorer in the Endesa League this season, averaging 15.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists in the ACB. UCAM was on the verge of qualifying for the playoff.
Now, Frankamp may dispute the Euroleague, a factor that has weighed heavily on his decision: “I have the opportunity to play at the highest level. This is a highly respected team and an excellent organization, which reached the Euroleague playoffs last year ”.
