LtoMLB lived moments of tension When the pitcher for the Oakland Athletics Chris Bassit, got a 100 mph line that crossed his mind, causing him to quit the game.

It was in the second inning that Bassitt was facing Brian Goodwin when the slugger answered his pitch that passed right by the side of his head causing him to end up on the floor. His colleagues immediately ran to help him while medical personnel treated him for what appeared to be a hemorrhage.

Minutes later the pitcher managed to stand up and was helped out of the field to be taken to the hospital for examination, while in the stadium everyone applauded him. The team provided information about his health status on social media.
