Washington, Apr 25 (EFE) .- Guard Bradley Beal scored 33 points and the Washington Wizard completed the comeback against the Cleveland Cavaliers, whom they beat 119-110 and reached the eighth consecutive victory.
The Wizards, who were eight points down at the start of the fourth period (87-95), tied it at 105 with a 3 by Beal and 4:55 left. Washington ended a 14-5 streak, which made the difference in their favor.
Beal played his 596th game with Washington and moved to fourth place in franchise history. He outpointed Charles Jones, who played with the Bullets from 1984 to 1993.
Point guard Russell Westbrook had 14 points, 11 assists and five rebounds, ending his streak of triple-doubles at four. He failed to register a triple-double for only the third time in 17 games.
While the tall men of the Wizards, the pivots, the Cuban American Robin López scored 14 points and the young Daniel Gafford reached 12 points, which also helped the Wizards (27-23), who remain in the tenth place of the Eastern Conference.
