San Salvador, Sep 24 (EFE) .- The Alliance will expose this weekend the leadership of the Apertura soccer tournament in El Salvador to visit Jocoro, while the Associated Soccer Players Santanecos (FAS) expects a setback to attack the top.
The Alianza pachyderms are leaders with 23 points and will visit Jocoro, sixth with 15 points and on whose court they have lost in the last two games played.
The FAS, second with 22 units, will try to add the three visiting points against Atlético Marte, eighth with 11 points.
In third place is Águila with 16 points and will face Luis Ángel Firpo, who is fifth with 15 points and seeks to climb further in the table.
The 11 Deportivo, also fourth with the same points as Águila but a lower scoring quota, will visit Santa Tecla, tenth with 9 points.
El Plantense, the youngest of the league and seventh 13 units, will try to stay in the qualifying positions and will play against Municipal Limeño, the last in the table with 6 points.
Isidro Metapán has the same points, but his scoring contribution places him in twelfth position.
The Caleros del Metapán will host the Duros from the North of Chalatenango, who are the owners of the ninth position with 9 points.
The eleventh day marks the end of the first round in the regular phase of the tournament, which at the end of 22 dates will distribute 8 tickets to the quarterfinals.
These duels will be resolved in a double game until reaching the final, which will be played in a single game.
