Serbia’s first roster for pre-Olympic includes Jokic and Bogdanovic

Serbia does not give up and wants to be in the Games
Olympics of this summer. After failing to get the direct ticket, the team directed by Igor Kokoskov will host in a few weeks the pre-olympic tournament which will give the winning country access to Tokyo.

For this, the Serbs have announced their first preliminary list, hoping that everyone can attend the appointment. The list, headed by NBA names like Nikola Jokic or Bogdan Bogdanovic, includes up to 25 players who could represent their country in Belgrade.

Serbia will face the Dominican Republic and the Philippines in their group, while Italy, Puerto Rico and Senegal will do the same in the other. The top two from each side will advance to the semifinals but only the tournament champion will get their ticket to Tokyo.

Besides Jokic and Bogdanovic, other names just as well known as Boban Marjanovic or Nemanja Bjelica they also appear on the list. Likewise, Aleksej PokusevskiOne of the sensations in the NBA after his great rookie campaign, he could also be in the tournament.
