Satoransky and Vesely will lead the Czech Republic in the pre-Olympic

The exazulgrana Tomas Satoransky and the Turkish Fenerbahce player Jan Vesely will lead the national team of the Czech Republic in the pre-olympic tournament Tokyo 2020.

The two players with past and present in the NBA stand out in the list of 18 players who will play a place in the Olympic squad of the Czech national team, a list that also includes Jan Zidek, son of former NBA player George Zidek.

Patrik Auda, Richard Balint, Ondrej Balvin, Jaromic Bohacik, David Bohm, Ondrej Hanzlik, Vojtech Hruban, Lubos Kovar, Lukas Palyza, Martin Peterka, Patrick Samoura, Blake Schilb, Ondrej Sehnal, Jakub Sirina and Tomas Vyoral complete the squad that will start train for the pre-Olympic tournament June 8.

The challenge for Satoransky’s team as they qualify for the Olympics they will need to stay ahead of Canada, China, Greece, Turkey and Uruguay in
the tournament, which takes place between June 29 and July 4 in Victoria, Canada.
