The Real
Madrid has made official what was an open secret: Thomas
Heurtel will be part of the white team during the 2021-2022 season after arriving from Asvel of the French league.
The French base, an absolute international with his selection and who will be part of his combined
national at the next Tokyo Olympics, has signed a one year contract to put himself at the command of Pablo Laso.
In this way, a signing that was speculated several months ago ends when the controversy with his previous club, the Barcelona, prevented him from signing for the white team in the middle of the season.
Heurtel then landed on the ASVEL, with whom he has played the rest of the course in his country. Now, with the national leagues over, the French player joins Real Madrid where he will coincide with several compatriots such as Poirier, Casseur or Yabusele.
In addition, the confirmation of this signing comes just a day after that of another incorporation of the white team, that of Adam
Hanga. Both started last season under Jasikevicius and will play the next one at Madrid.
