The base of the Anadolu Efes in Istanbul, Serbian Vasilije Micic, was appointed Euroleague MVP of the season, which announced the decision this noon a couple of days before the start of the Final Four in Cologne.

omputing the votes of fans, the media and, for the first time, of coaches and players. Both the technical collective and the team captains voted for Micic above the rest of the candidates of the ideal Euroleague five, which includes Nikola Mirotic.
To their 27 years, Micic has completed a magnificent course with Efes, one of the big favorites to win the title of the top continental competition this weekend in Germany.
The point guard has averaged 16.3 points and 4.8 assists, which places him as the fourth top scorer and the ninth best passer in the competition. The player he has led the Turkish team in both categories.
Thanks to his leadership on and off the track, Anadolu came back from a bad start to the competition in Europe, since the course started with an 8-9 record and has since won 14 of his 17 games en route to the playoffs against Real Madrid.
The tie against the Whites was exciting and tense, but in the fifth game Micic and his teammates won the ticket to the Final Four. The debut of the brand new MVP and his team in Cologne will be on Friday at 7:00 p.m. against CSKA Moscow, in a duel that reissues the 2019 Euroleague final.
