Cory Higgins, main offensive argument of the Barça in his triumph against the Real Madrid at the premiere of the Endesa League final, has highlighted the “attitude” shown this Sunday by his team in a second half in which he knew how to react to overcome the game, allowing him to be within a single victory of the title.
“It was a good victory for us. We did not start as we wanted but we have worked a lot and we have corrected mistakes. We have also shown attitude and in the end we were able to focus on the game,” explained the US guard at a press conference.
On his great performance, which allowed him to finish as the top scorer of the clash with 26 points, said that he felt “good” on the track and that he tried at all times to fulfill his mission so that his team could overcome the advantage of the Real Madrid in the first part.
“At the team level, the important thing was to have the rebound and I started to score because we played with a better defense after the break,” Higgins added.
