Garuba breaks records in his new exhibition with Real Madrid

Madrid, Jun 10 (EFE) .- Usman Garuba beat several personal records this Thursday with his great performance against Valencia Basket in the third game of the semifinals of the Endesa League and, with his 16 points and 14 rebounds, he became the player youngest to achieve a double-double in a playoff game since he is only 19 years and three months old.

Those fourteen rejections are also the best rebounding mark of a player of his age, surpassing the thirteen that Luka Doncic, Rasmus Larsen and Eduardo Hernández-Sonseca achieved in their day.

His 16 points converted allow him to beat his personal best and reach the third highest score by a young man in the playoff, highlighted on its website the ACB, which recalled that in this section it is only surpassed by José Luis Galilea’s 22 points and 18 scored by Víctor Claver.

Other marks achieved by the Spanish pivot against Valencia Basket are his top of triples (3) and his highest record in rebounds (14), although he was just one credit away from his personal record in valuation, which was at 24 while this Thursday it reached 23.
