Four Spanish teams in the Champions Cup in a wheelchair

Four Spanish teams will participate in the first edition of the Basketball Champions Cup in a wheelchair that will be held this weekend in the German city of Wetzlar in a Final to Eight format.

The Bidaideak Bilbao, CD Ilunion, Amiab Albacete and ACE Gran Canaria, the Germans from Thuringia Bulls, Baskets 96 Rahden and Lahn-Dill and the Italian from Porto Torres will be the participants in the Champions Cup.

The Bilbao team, leader of the Wheelchair Basketball Honor Division, will seek its second European title after the Euroleague 1 you got in 2019 in Sheffield (UK).

The Bidaideak will be measured on Friday in the quarterfinals at Amiab Albacete and if they beat the La Mancha team on Saturday they would play the pass to the final with the winner of the duel between the German teams of the Thuringia Bulls and Baskets Rahden.

On the other side of the table, the two quarterfinal matches will be the Ilunion-Porto Torres and the shock that will measure the ACE Gran Canaria with the hosts of Lahn-Dill.
