The club Obradoiro announced this Friday the renewal of the contract for two more years, until June 2023, of the technician Moncho Fernandez, who arrived at the Compostela club in the summer of 2010.
The Galician coach is, together with Pablo Laso (Real Madrid), the coach who has been leading the same team in the Endesa League for the longest (ten years), eleven seasons in total at the head of the Compostela team since he took the team in LEB Oro.
Since that time, he has accumulated an aggregate balance of 163 wins and 211 losses. In 2013 he played the only Playoff for the ACB title in the history of the entity, in addition to participating as host in the Copa del Rey in A Coruña in 2016 and the Endesa Super Cup in Santiago de Compostela in 2018.
