The Health Secretariat of Brasilia announced, through Comebol, that twelve members, including several players, of the delegation of the Venezuelan team, the one in charge of opening the Copa América together with Brazil, tested positive for coronavirus in the relevant tests upon arrival in Brazil. In turn, they specified that “they are asymptomatic, isolated in individual rooms and observed by the medical team of Conmebol and the Center for Strategic Information on Health Surveillance (CIEVS)”.
