Shocking images that come from a karting circuit from Rivas-Vaciamadrid, a town in the Spanish capital, in an accident that could have ended in tragedy. Two amateur drivers staged a crash in which one of them ended up in the air giving a round of the bell.

At a recently opened chicane on the track, the victim crash into one of the walls at the first turn, losing control of the kart, and in the second he is trapped between his rival and the next wall, going out catapulted through the air and taking a turn.

Fortunately, everything was in a great fright and the kart fell upside down, avoiding any serious injury to the pilot or even his death. Beyond any possible cervical damage from the force of the shock there was no injury to regret.

Miguel Angel Checa, CEO of the circuit, confirmed that neither of the two drivers involved were injured and that the cause of the accident was “irresponsible”. “The safety measures of the circuit and our protocols in the event of an accident were correct and worked perfectly“he explained.
