The players who train at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center located at the Sani Resort (Greece) they have received a spectacular surprise when they enjoy the presence of Carlos Moyá, with which they have had the opportunity to train and play for a week that will undoubtedly become one of the tennis experiences of their lives.
“It is my first time here and I am sure it will not be the last”, has affirmed the former world number 1 and member of Rafa Nadal’s technical team, who has shared his knowledge with all the young players who have enjoyed his advice this week. In addition to supervising the training sessions, Moyá delighted the fans by playing a small exhibition with Konstantinos Economidis, Greek former tennis player who reached 112th place in the ATP ranking.
Located within the Sani Resort (an impressive complex of more than 400 hectares) The Rafa Nadal Tennis Center is made up of 8 clay courts in which they are taught weekly tennis programs available for players of all ages and of all levels. As Carlos Moyá himself has been able to supervise, the objective of these centers is to offer high-quality tennis training so that guests and residents of the area can play and receive classes through the different personalized programs according to the different player profiles. These programs have been developed from an exclusive training system, based on the successful experience acquired by Rafa Nadal and his technical team during more than 15 years in the professional circuit.
Rafa’s coach and Technical Director of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has confessed to enjoying the visit very much: “I am having one of the best experiences I can remember, since I have come with my wife and children and being here is allowing me to do many activities with them. Go to the beach, adventure activities, zip lines, soccer, cycling. I think i will need another trip to sample the 24 restaurants at the resort. I think this is an ideal place for tennis lovers, since the training methodology is the same as in the Academy that we have in Manacor and the coaches are first class. I haven’t left yet and I’m already looking forward to coming back next year ”.
