Argentina, winner of the 2004 Olympic tournament and silver medal at the 2019 World Cup, will start the games in Tokyo against current world champion Spain, Luka’s Slovenia Doncic and host Japan in Group C. The top two teams from each of the three groups will automatically advance to the quarter-finals, while the third two will also qualify based on qualifying criteria.
