At least eight people were hospitalized, three of them are in critical condition, in an accident during a “rally” that ran through a mud track in the state of Texas, in the United States, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Ricardo Samaniego reported Monday.
According to local media, the authorities said that one of the vehicles, “for unknown reasons”, went off the track and through the guardrail, hitting onlookers. The car also collided with three other vehicles that were in the area.
Samaniego, citing a report he received from Sheriff’s Office Chief Tom Whitten, explained to ABC-affiliated KVIA that 29 people had been injured in some way after the collision.
