Alonso assures that he has tried to talk about this type of incidents with the race director, Michael Massi, especially after the episode with Vettel at the Red Bull Ring in early June, which cost the Asturian entry into Q3.
“What I was referring to yesterday is that I felt a bit like an idiot, I said it in Austria, by respecting the rules. We tried to talk to the race director to always say or to blame the things that other people do without much success or answers and that is strange, so I do not want to be blaming or crying in each race for something that others do, “he said.
That is why Alonso, somewhat burned with the situation, believes that perhaps the best thing is to do the same as the others: “The strategy in the first races did not have any solution or did not give us any solution, so we understood that the solution is to do what others are doing.
