All World Series Champions: Atlanta clinches fourth crown

The history of the World Series: results and all the champions.

Lyou Atlanta Braves were finally able to end a 26-year long drought and this Tuesday they beat the Houston Astros to be crowned champions of the World Series for the first time since 1995.

With an extraordinary work by Max Fried and a powerful offensive commanded by Jorge Soler, the Braves became champions for the fourth time in their history within the majors.

The first title of the franchise came in the very distant 1914, when they swept the Philadelphia Athletics in four games. The second was in 1957 in seven games against the New York Yankees and the most recent came in 1995 in six games against the Cleveland Indians.
